"namaste" is an acknowledgment of the divine spark in each of us, the soul in one recognizing the soul in the other. it is my fervent wish and intention, as we go through life, whatever it brings us, that this be the first thing we see in each other. let's treat each other as being the same light.
may the long time sun shine upon you,
all love surround you,
and the pure light within you
guide your way on.

Beautiful! Your photos are stunning. Your soul shines through this post.
ReplyDeletekass-thank you, fellow being of light. you inspire me in more ways than i can count. shine on!
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the Kurt Vonnegut novel Breakfast of Champions. In it, an artist shows his latest piece, an otherwise empty canvas with several tiny dabs of yellow. When somebody asks the artist what it's supposed to be a picture of, the artist replies, "people".
ReplyDeleteSparks of light, DNA, whatever makes us us, we really should treat each other better. Do unto others, as the wise man once said.
I love your yoga blessing and your buddhist forgiveness prayer. I want to carry these words through the end of this year and into next year.
ReplyDeleteThank you.
kirk-yes, the golden rule really is golden. what happens, do you think, that has us being so bloody awful to each other?
ReplyDeletetregina-thank you. spread the light!
