whatever is rattling around my brain that makes it out my fingers. may contain bad poetry, decent photographs (all mine unless otherwise noted, and therefore copyrighted), yoga rants, and general silliness.
Well, somh, the Las Vegas women are posting the "sugar crystals on white petals" shots today, aren't we? Yours, though, because of the beautiful gold, remind me of farm eggs fixed in an egg-white omelette. I'm thinking in food again. I see scallions, too!
WV - berad. I could bake some fresh berad for that breakfast!
limes-yes, we are most definitely sweetening the day! i got that effect on some other shots, the post of which i can't find. still don't know how it happened, just glad it did. oh great, now i'm hungry!
I remember that photo series! Interesting to me that you've pulled the crystalline effect out of two sets of irises and few (?no) others. Could it be some quality innate to the iris? Or to the iris and certain cactus flowers? Or to the iris and certain cactus flowers in certain kinds of light? Never mind. I don't want to know. I just like to be surprised by the magic sometimes.
limes- i'm glad you don't want to know, 'cause i have no clue. with my lame camera, i didn't even know i had captured that effect (in the purple series) 'til i downloaded the shots onto my computer. i also don't know why sometimes my beige wall shows up as purple, green or black. sometimes ignorance really is bliss!
Wow!!!
ReplyDeleteI love all of them

Once again it's your lighting that thrills me. That and the silver textures. These might be my favorites so far.
ReplyDeletegabi- *blush* and thank you.

ReplyDeletetag-no need to pick favorites, that's so elitist! *grin* i'm glad you're thrilled-some days, thrills are scarce on the ground.
