glitter
there's glitter on my kitchen floor, stardust on my ass, the shimmer of the moonlight shines off the dirty glass.
OK, how do these 3 things go together? The B&W photo reminds me of the old B&W version of Shangri La. The poem makes me want to dirty dance and Mick's shaky voice at the end of Moonlight Mile makes me jealous because I wish I use that kind of expression when I sing.
Ohhhh, I think I just got it. It's the moonlight, right? All 3 things have moonlight in common. I'm a little slow today.
kass- these things came together with absolutely no forethought or plan. sometimes, one thing just leads to another, to another, to another. i never know where it will end up.
Any chance to listen to Moonlight Mile. What a song.
ReplyDeletelemmy-have to agree with you there!

ReplyDeleteThat little poem is a real hoot!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, this post started with glitter and ended with glimmer (Get it? Get it?)
The post has changed since you put it up. The solitary image, the black and white one, works best with the poem and song, imho!
ReplyDeletekirk-i get it, i get it! you crack me up.
ReplyDeleteokatb-i agree. i had second thoughts, in the middle of the night, of course!
I like your second thoughts. This looks like some of the better Ansel Adams B&W's. Good stuff.
ReplyDeletetag- i think the only thing ansel and i have in common is that we both own(ed) cameras! and i thank you for that most gracious compliment.
