whatever is rattling around my brain that makes it out my fingers. may contain bad poetry, decent photographs (all mine unless otherwise noted, and therefore copyrighted), yoga rants, and general silliness.
Almost everything makes me wish I had known it sooner, which is actually kind of depressing because of all the time I've wasted. Loved it longer? I usually don't love something until I realize it's not there anymore (my timing sucks.) Is there anything that makes me shiver? The weather here in Cleveland. Anything that makes me want to dance? That would take a trip to the liquor store. Can't afford a cat right now but miss the one I had. Bacon? Just had one on a burger from Wendy's.
and why hasn't anyone said anything about that darth vader clip? that is SO funny, and a wonderful counterpoint to the slump poem. at least, i think so. 'cause i hate that song.
smile and hold it for exactly 58 seconds. I have an advantage in that I have no headphones with me here at the pretlow branch library, I'm not in Cleveland ,I am 100 yards from the Chesapeake Bay and I have a new car. Now all I need is to get that old wreck out of my driveway and the power turned back on. Then I will have everything (except for a bladder) that a person could want. I like your poem very much, of course there is nothing here it's all illusion.
tag-things sound good down your way (son A being the possible exception). good to hear! nope, nothing here, nothing to see here, move along, move along.
@ Tag ~ Would you be meaning my old favorite, "Up your butt with a Pizza Hut"? That seems relatively safe and innocuous today.
Rraine ~ "bacon" makes me choke. Sorry. But if you don't have the love of a cat keeping you, I'm more sorry about that. Everyone needs a cat, even if they don't know they need a cat. Please ~ treat yourself to a cat friend. Or I'll treat you to one.
LM-i love bacon. i refrain from indulging but seldom, for that very reason. i've had cats, and would again if i didn't think i'd be terribly allergic to them-again. i had to desensitize myself, and that was waaaay back when i was less allergic than i am now. i miss the critters. i am considering getting a lizard-no dander!
I generally feel good when I have my cat, and a pound of bacon in the fridge.
ReplyDeletecc-trade ya!

ReplyDeleteGood poem, as usual.
A pound of cat bacon, perhaps?
ReplyDeletekirk-thanks. it seems the photographic slump is slightly fueling the poetry.
ReplyDeleteokatb-let them eat cat!

ReplyDeleteDon't worry, be happy!
