the white album II

  1. had to come back and look at the sepia. It's like an old tintype pretty cool but too much gray in the foreground for my taste. The second and third remind of a summer sky. or maybe spun sugar. Nice work as usual.

  2. tag-you've just confirmed something i've been suspecting for a while now. i'm stalled. have to shake things up somehow.

  3. I must be color blind because I don't see any gray in the sepia photo. I'm assuming we're talking about the fourth picture. I see a lot of gray in the second picture. I'm not sure if it's in black-and-white or it's a color picture taken in very dim lighting. Or maybe there's just dim lighting around the computer screen and that's why I'm seeing everything differently!

    Anyway, I like the sepia.

  4. I like all of the shots, but especially the texture of the second one.

  5. kirk-the second was taken in low light, and i didn't really expect it to turn out that way. most assuredly, no gray in the sepia shot. and i suspect that you see most things differently, in which we all delight!

  6. I totally love the texture of #2. The sepia takes my breath away. Great pics :)

  7. kass and gabi-i love the dissonance created by a photo that you want to touch, as well as see.
