whatever is rattling around my brain that makes it out my fingers. may contain bad poetry, decent photographs (all mine unless otherwise noted, and therefore copyrighted), yoga rants, and general silliness.
limes-ah, interesting question. had to give this some thought. i don't believe in stupidity. ignorance, fear, greed, desperation, grief, oblivion, yes. "stupid" tends to be used to create distance, rather than connection. it's a euphemism for "i don't know why X happened, that scares me, so let's make the other bad and wrong."
when i want to characterize something/someone as stupid, it's always because something just got poked in me.
What a well considered comment to my rather pedestrian, "If it's Monday (or anything other than the weekend) must it be stupid?" I didn't state clearly enough that that's all I meant.
Well, I was being sincere about how well considered that was, especially since I wasn't very clear about what I meant. What? The entire blogosphere doesn't completely understand my every utterance? I knew what I meant!
kirk-forecasting chaos on monday is like forecasting sun in san diego. great odds!
true story: on 3 separate occasions, i wore that shirt to teach my yoga classes. on all 3 days, the class devolved to, well, utter chaos. laughing, joking, not paying attention, cats and dogs living-wait, wrong blog! now i know that correlation does not mean causality, but sheesh!
Fractals - so mind-expanding. What a cool video. What are your photos of? A tattoo?
ReplyDeletekass-it's a t-shirt i have, but now you've given me a great idea for my next tattoo-thanks!
ReplyDeleteand don't worry about typos-we all make 'em.
Or just stupidity?

ReplyDeletelimes-yeah, i got a little carried away there, didn't i? sometimes i think too much.

ReplyDeleteUnjumble those letters in that second photo, and they spell 'chaos'.
ReplyDeleteForecasting the comment thread, maybe?
Just joking! Just joking!
