whatever is rattling around my brain that makes it out my fingers. may contain bad poetry, decent photographs (all mine unless otherwise noted, and therefore copyrighted), yoga rants, and general silliness.
Thes are beautiful. it a few seconds to realize i waas looking at reflections. What is that gridded piece in the second post i looks like something Shari uses to cut fabric on. Nice work. Are you feeling better about your photographs?
kass-what a great repsonse! there's a quote from monet that goes something like -in order to see, we must forget the name of the thing we're looking at. this was my attempt to scramble things up a little.
tag-thank you. the grid is a cutting mat, can be used for cutting all kinds of things. i'm feeling better about how i'm seeing. the photos are gonna take some time to catch up!
A great photograph is a full expression of what one feels about what is being photographed in the deepest sense, and is, thereby, a true expression of what one feels about life in its entirety. ~Ansel Adams
gabi, thanks. ansel said what i've been pondering since i started this photo gig. i sometimes look at my shots and think, gee, i didn't know i felt that way!
Cool cool cool. I love pictures where I can't quite tell what it is. This was performance art. A multi-media experience. Very cool.

jan-thanks. glad it fit your morning so well!
How'd you manage to keep the camera out of the reflection?
ReplyDeletekirk-it's all in how you angle the shot. i've had a little practice keeping my shadow out of shots, too!
