home is where the heart is

the chaos in my heart
wants a meeting.
it has an agenda.
whence comes this havoc?
dammit.

the infrastructure is dissolving,
the veil is thin.
the past no longer matters,
the future does not exist.

ah.
meeting adjourned.

  1. Where is your heart? Follow it and peace comes from havoc. And you will find your way home.

  2. tag, i'm doing my damnedest to listen, and follow. lots of static on the heart wavelength lately. some channels clear, some fuzzed out.

  3. What's going on? Work? Biorhythms? Weather? Hormones? Blood sugar? General malaise? Don't adjourn that meeting before calling in the board members. There is help available.

  4. kass, this came out of my ongoing confusion about what's next photographically, among other things. maybe i should rework the poem. the meeting was adjourned once it became clear that the present is all we have.
and all you board members help me, in ways i can't express!

  5. Standing,

I found the following quote, which I would like to share with you.
"Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will find them gradually, without noticing it, and live along some distant day into the answer. ~Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet

  7. This post must have slipped by me. I just came across it now.

That's one meeting that adjourned much too early.
